Taking a walk on Holmen in Copenhagen you find the Copenhagen Opera House. It is Denmark’s national opera house, and among the most modern opera houses in the world. With its construction cost of more than 500 million U.S. dollars, it is also one of the most expensive opera houses in the world.
The opera house was design by architect Henning Larsen and opened in 2015.
A short bikeride from the opera house you find the cozy neighborhood Christianshavn identified by its many canals almost like a small Venedig.
